Are you guys tired of buffalo chicken yet?

Please say no.

I’m so in love with the tangy heat of ranch dressing and buffalo sauce that I can’t stop. I don’t want to stop. I must not stop. I can not stop. Please don’t make me stop?

Buffalo Chicken Burgers with Ranch Slaw recipe

Y’all might remember my supah fabulous buffalo chicken meatball sandwiches. They are amazing and I get emails quite often from ladies telling me that their husbands love them again. I’m saving marriages with those meatball sandwiches, you guys.

But, it’s getting warmer out and I know how you feel about turning the oven on, especially to 500 degrees, in the middle of summer. I don’t blame you. Let’s take this sandwich to the grill, shall we?

Buffalo Chicken Burgers with Ranch Slaw recipe

These sandwiches are super similar to the meatballs, except that they are formed into patties, grilled instead of baked, and then they’re topped with this crazy ranch coleslaw. I’m so in love with cabbage right now. I don’t know what’s wrong with me, either. Apparently I like vegetables. Someone alert the media!

The chicken stays nice and moist thanks to the hot sauce and ranch dressing and the flavor just pops!

Whip these up for dinner this summer. I insist.

Ingredients:

For the burgers:
1 pound ground chicken
2/3 cup panko
1/4 cup hot sauce
1 tablespoons ranch seasoning powder

To prepare the ranch slaw, mix together the coleslaw mix, ranch dressing, and ranch powder in a small bowl to combine.
Place the chicken patties on the sandwich buns, top with the ranch slaw, and drizzle with extra hot sauce, if desired.

@Karly, if you to these in a cast iron frying pan, cover them, and they will cook faster and more juicy.

making these right now.. they are so runny I think they will run right though the bars on the grill, stuck them in the freezer for a bit.. but seems like I I am going to have to cook them in a pan on the stove.

Oh no! I hope they worked out for you! Did you have any luck on the grill?

In the future, you can always add a bit more panko, but I’ve made this recipe just as stated with no problems.

These sound really good. Although I might try pounding out some chicken breasts and deep frying them then coating them with the buffalo sauce. I think that’d be really good to, be like a buffalo wing sandwich. And the ranch coleslaw would be really good on that. Give it a crunchy texture.

When you say Ranch Seasoning, is that the packaged ranch dressing mix? These sound fabulous and we are having people over tomorrow night and can’t wait to make these! Any suggestions for another side dish?
    Happy Friday!
