Friday Things #3
It’s Friday! You know what that means? I’m driving up to Chicago to pick up my son from camp. I can’t wait to kiss his big head.
In the meantime, I thought I’d leave you with a little round up of what my week looked like.
It started out, of course, with another ridiculous photo of my husband, courtesy of one of his co-workers who is now known as my BFF.
On Sunday I offered you the chance to win a ridiculous amount of Mrs. Freshley’s new Cinnabon goodies. Have you entered yet?
On Monday, I totally slacked off and didn’t blog. Mah bad.
On Tuesday, I shared my new favorite breakfast. S’mores PopTarts.
Wednesday was full of chocolate and peanut butter. As God intended.
And Thursday? Well, I spent most of Thursday in a sugar coma after licking the browned butter glaze right off of these delicious donuts.
Have a fabulous weekend. I’ll be back next week with some ridiculous homemade ice cream, no-bake cheesecake, and a slab pie.

That picture is HILARIOUS. He looks so forlorn, as I’m assuming most people in the middle of a tidal wave with a scary, hungry shark do. You know, just the norm. Glad your cutie son is coming home! And glad you enjoyed that leftover glaze–it would have been criminal not to!

@Hayley @ The Domestic Rebel,
Yes, yes. Totally normal to look forlorn in this situation. (What he was actually doing was following around the kids while they hunted Easter Eggs, I believe.)
So umm… Karly… I have a request. After you pick up your son from camp and kiss his head half a dozen times, and spend 2 hours cleaning beach sand and dead bugs out of his duffle bag, will you please consider blogging a DIY post on how to make a pair of stretchy pants because your freaking week full of ungodly sinful treats made the elastic on my favorite pair snap today. I hate it when that happens.

@Becca from It’s Yummilicious,
Yeah, I don’t sew. Or do whatever it is that you do to make stretchy pants. I should probably figure that out though, because I keep outgrowing my own. Very sad, isn’t it?
Hmmm. .. I think Becca’s comment was hilarious and she should have her own blogo!! Honestly tho, I can gain weight just looking at this stuff … wiping off the drool now …
