These Chicken Caesar Burgers are a fun weeknight dinner that comes together in about 20 minutes. Ground chicken patties seasoned with Parmesan and garlic get piled onto toasted brioche buns with crisp Caesar salad and a drizzle of my homemade Caesar dressing.

Turning girl dinner into something my husband loves.
I shared my recipe for homemade Caesar dressing not too long ago and I mentioned my favorite girl dinner: Salty, crispy french fries and a Caesar salad.
I’m amping it up a bit here to keep the men (and the ladies) happy and turning that girl dinner into a more substantial meal.
These chicken Caesar burgers are, honestly, perfection. Like a chicken Caesar salad that you can pick up and hold in your hands to eat (because who doesn’t love a sandwich?), and of course these go great with a side of french fries.
I’m adding Caesar dressing directly in the burger patties to keep them extra moist (no sad, dry chicken here) and then we also top it all off with Caesar salad and and extra little saucy drizzle. Go ahead and use a bag of salad mix if you like – it keeps life easy.
3 Reasons You’ll Love This Recipe
🧀 The patties are flavor-packed. Caesar dressing and Parmesan go right into the meat, so you’re not relying on toppings to do all the work.
🥗 Dinner and a side in one. The Caesar salad kit goes on top, and there’s usually enough left over to serve alongside. Two birds, one skillet, or however that saying goes. 😉
⏱️ Ready in about 20 minutes. Mix, shape, cook, eat. That’s it.
Ingredient Notes, Swaps, & Tips:

Lean ground chicken is perfect here. There’s no need to worry about the chicken getting dry, because we add cheese + dressing right into the burger patties.
Use store-bought dressing to keep it simple. A good bottled Caesar works fine here. If you want to go homemade, our 5-Minute Caesar Dressing takes about as long as it does to heat the skillet and honestly, it’s really perfect.
Go with the powdery Parmesan. The finely grated kind blends right into the meat. I use the kind from the refrigerator section rather than the shelf stable green jar for the best flavor. A wedge you grate yourself works great too.
Don’t skip toasting the buns. It only takes a minute in the same skillet, and it keeps everything from turning soggy under the salad and adds some texture.
Want it extra saucy? Drizzle a little more Caesar dressing right on the burger before you add the salad. No shame in it.
Make your own salad topping if you prefer. About 2 cups of chopped romaine, 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan, plenty of crushed croutons, and 2 tablespoons of dressing does the trick.
Ground chicken sticks to your hands. Wet your hands before forming the patties and it’s much easier to work with.

Step by Step Instructions:

Add the chicken, Panko, Parm, and seasonings to a mixing bowl and mix well to combine.

Form into 4 patties and cook in a hot skillet for about 5 minutes per side, until cooked through.

Stir together the Casear salad in a mixing bowl. You’ll likely have more than you need for topping burgers – makes a great side!

Toast the buns and add a burger + salad + an extra drizzle of dressing to the top.
Helpful Tip!
Storage
Refrigerator: Store leftover cooked patties in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet over medium heat or in the microwave.
Freezer: Cooked patties freeze well for up to 3 months. Let them cool completely before freezing. Thaw overnight in the fridge and reheat in a skillet.
Heads up: Don’t store assembled sandwiches. The salad will wilt and the buns will get soggy. Build them fresh each time.
Recipe FAQs:
Yes, but ground chicken is soft and sticky. Use a well-oiled grill grate or a grill basket, and let the patties cook without moving them until they release naturally.
Traditional Caesar dressing is made with anchovies, but the homemade version on this site skips the fillets and uses Worcestershire sauce for that savory depth instead. (Worcestershire sauce does also contain anchovy.) If you’re buying bottled, check the label if that matters to you.
