Healthy turkey meatballs made easy by baking them in the oven! These are perfect over pasta, in a hoagie roll with some marinara and cheese, or served next to some roasted veggies.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray a large rimmed baking sheet with non-stick spray or line with parchment paper.
Add all of the ingredients to a large mixing bowl and stir well to combine.
Use a large cookie scoop to scoop out equal sized portions of the meatball mixture. Roll into uniform balls using your hands.
Place meatballs on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until a thermometer reads 165 degrees.
Serve hot.

Notes
Serve with a dish of warmed marina for dipping or over pasta with marinara sauce. Also great in a bowl with rice and roasted veggies or stuffed in a pita with tzatziki, lettuce, and tomato! This is our basic recipe, but we make these about once a week and I experiment with different flavors all the time. Cajun seasoning, Greek seasoning, seasoned salt, etc. all make great swaps for the Italian seasoning and s&p situation. You really can't mess these up!To make barbecue meatballs, brush them with sauce during the last 5 minutes of cooking so it can caramelize a bit.To freeze, place cooked and cooled meatballs in a freezer safe bag and seal. Store in the freezer for up to 3 months. To reheat, add frozen meatballs to marinara and cook over low heat until warmed through.
