Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon corn starch
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  • Whisk together all ingredients in a small saucepan. Turn heat to medium low and bring to a boil, stirring frequently.
  • Remove from the heat immediatley after the sauce comes to a boil for a thin, glossy sauce. For a thicker sauce, let the sauce boil for 20 seconds or so.
  • Serve with sausage egg rolls.

Notes

We like this sauce to be somewhat thin and drippy, but you can thicken it to the consistency you prefer just by boiling it for longer.
