Fried Green Tomatoes Sauce

We love a good dipping sauce and this one doesn't disappoint with it's creamy, spicy flavor! Super simple to whip up and easy to customize with your favorite spices. We use this for fried green tomatoes, but it's also great on fries, burgers, fish, and more!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons creole mustard
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
  • 1 teaspoon creole seasoning such as Tony Chachere’s
  • 1 teaspoon white distilled vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne optional

Instructions

  • Add all of the ingredients to a small bowl and whisk to combine.
  • Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
  • Serve with fried green tomatoes or as a dip for french fries or fried fish.

Notes

This dip is a bit spicy as written, thanks to the creole mustard, creole seasoning, horseradish, and cayenne. You can easily omit the cayenne for a more mild dip and cut the creole seasoning in half or omit the horseradish. Play around with the spices - you really can't mess this up!
Store covered in the fridge for up to one week.
Serve with air fryer fried green tomatoes, french fries, fried fish, or chicken strips.
