Christmas Oatmeal Cookie Bars

Thick & chewy oatmeal cookie bars all dressed up for Christmas! Toss in some red and green sprinkles to make them extra festive!

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups red and green m&ms
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9x13 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Add everything but the m&ms and chocolate chips to the bowl of a stand mixer and beat until just combined.
  • Stir in the candy and chocolate chips.
  • Spread the batter into the baking dish. Bake for 28 minutes or until a tester comes out with just a few moist crumbs. Bars should look slightly underdone.
  • Let cool 1 hour before cutting into bars.
