Spicy Maple Roasted Carrots
These maple glazed carrots are roasted in the oven and sprinkled with a bit of cayenne for an unexpected spicy kick!

- 1 pound carrots
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon real maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Wash and peel the carrots. Slice into equal sized sticks.
Add carrots to a bowl and add the remaining ingredients. Toss well to coat the carrots evenly.
Spread on a baking sheet and cook for 20 minutes. Serve hot.
