Hot Fudge Fluffernutter Banana Bread

I got it in my head to make a Hot Fudge and Peanut Butter Banana Bread. Sounds good, right? Then I reached for the peanut butter and my hand knocked into the jar of Fluff and sent it flying out of the cabinet.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mashed bananas
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 1/4 cups white sugar
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup hot fudge sauce warmed
  • 1/2 cup marshmallow fluff warmed

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Spray a 9x5 loaf pan with cooking spray.
  • Beat together the banana, eggs, oil, buttermilk, and peanut butter.
  • Stir together the sugar, flour, salt, and baking soda. Add to the banana mixture and stir until just combined.
  • Pour half of the mixture into the prepared loaf pan. Pour half of the hot fudge and fluff evenly over the banana mixture and swirl with a knife.
  • Pour the remaining banana mixture in the pan and top with the remaining hot fudge and fluff. Swirl with a knife.
  • Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until a cake tester comes out clean.
