Greek Turkey Burgers

I'm a sucker for a juicy turkey burger and these turn out so moist and flavorful, thanks to all the mix-ins! The bright, zippy flavors of sun-dried tomatoes and feta cheese really make this burger pop.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground turkey
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh spinach
  • ¼ cup minced sun-dried tomatoes
  • ¼ cup crumbled feta
  • 1 ½ teaspoons Greek seasoning blend see notes
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • ½ cup tzatziki
  • Fresh lettuce red onion, cucumber slices, and tomato, for serving

Instructions

  • Add the turkey, spinach, tomatoes, feta, and Greek seasoning to a bowl. Stir well with a wooden spoon or use your hands to combine the mixture.
  • Shape the turkey mixture into 4 evenly sized patties a bit larger in diameter than your sandwich buns.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the oil. Once the oil is shimmering, add the turkey burgers and cook on each side until browned and turkey is cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  • Spread the hamburger buns with butter and toast in the hot pan until lightly golden.
  • Serve with hamburger buns spread with tzatziki and topped with your choice of lettuce, onion, cucumber slices, and tomato.

Notes

We use 93% lean ground turkey in this recipe.
We use Cavender’s Greek Seasoning. It’s one of our favorite seasoning blends and works well in a lot of recipes. If you’re using a different brand of seasoning you may need to add salt to the recipe, depending on how salty the blend is.
If you don’t have Greek seasoning, you can use ½ teaspoon each of oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
We normally cook these on the stove as directed, but they're also tasty on the grill (cook the same way over medium heat) or in the air fryer (360 degrees for 14 minutes, flipping halfway through cooking).
