Maple Glazed Pumpkin Donuts
These soft baked pumpkin donuts are topped with a simple maple glaze. They're so easy and ready in about 30 minutes.

Ingredients
For the donuts:

tablespoons
milk

tablespoons
vegetable oil
1
large
egg
1/4
cup
pumpkin
1
cup
flour
1/4
cup
brown sugar
2
teaspoons
pumpkin pie spice
3/4
teaspoon
baking powder
1/4
teaspoon
salt
1/8
teaspoon
baking soda
For the maple glaze:
1
cup
powdered sugar
1
tablespoon
maple syrup
1
tablespoon
milk
1/2
teaspoon
maple extract
Instructions
For the donuts:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a donut pan with non-stick spray.
Add the milk, oil, egg, and pumpkin to a mixing bowl and beat until well combined.
Add the dry ingredients to the bowl and mix to combine.
Spoon or pipe mixture into the donut pan and bake for 8-10 minutes or until a tester comes out clean.
Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
To glaze:
Place a cooling rack on a baking sheet.
Whisk together all of the ingredients for the glaze.
Dip the tops of each donut into the glaze and place on the prepared cooling rack to cool for 10 minutes to let the glaze set.

Notes
Maple extract isn't strictly necessary, but it does give the glaze a more pronounced maple flavor than syrup alone will.
