These maple glazed carrots are roasted in the oven and sprinkled with a bit of cayenne for an unexpected spicy kick!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound carrots
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon real maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Wash and peel the carrots. Slice into equal sized sticks.
  3. Add carrots to a bowl and add the remaining ingredients. Toss well to coat the carrots evenly.
  4. Spread on a baking sheet and cook for 20 minutes. Serve hot.
