I have this really bad habit of needing to make fancy, impressive desserts for other people. I can’t just take a box of brownies and serve them to guests. No, I first have to add in some salted caramel or even just a handful of Milk Duds. Sure, there is nothing fancy about Milk Duds, but it’s something unexpected and it makes my dessert a little more memorable.
Clearly, I’m an overachiever. At least in the cooking department. Don’t even ask me about the laundry department. Or the clean toilet department. Ew.
