What’s Cookin’ Wednesday #143

Hi, friends.

I took the day off yesterday. I opened my laptop first thing in the morning, like I always do. I opened Facebook. I started scrolling and just couldn’t anymore. I slammed my laptop shut and went and put up the Christmas tree.

I needed some joy in my life. The world is a mess and everyone has such strong and differing opinions and some of those opinions are just plain hateful. It makes me sad and so I hid myself behind Christmas decorations and blared Christmas music and enjoyed a day of peace. It was nice, but I guess I can’t hide forever. So, hello Internet. Let’s all try being a little kinder, shall we? <3 ‘Tis the season, after all.

Anyway, that’s enough of that. Let’s talk about the delicious food you guys linked up over the past week.
