This will maybe come as a surprise to some of you, but I happen to spend a lot of time in the kitchen. We homeschool, so the kids are home alllllll day long, and believe it or not, they expect me to feed them every single day.
It’s really quite ridiculous. I mean, what’s wrong with skipping a meal here and there? Because I spend so much time in the kitchen I tend to have lots of messes. Lots and lots of messes. My daughter helps cook, which is great but usually messy. She was making the very best waffles in the world in this photo. And you should know I don’t joke about waffles. That recipe really is the best. Every now and then, the husband helps cook the bacon. It’s nice not having to do it myself, but my word. That man gets grease everywhere. We were on vacation in that picture, so the grease didn’t bother me as much as it usually does. Could have something to do with the fact that a cleaning lady was coming the next day. Sometimes I can’t blame my messes on anyone but myself. I hate those days. I was making Brioche Au Chocolat in this picture. It was totally and completely worth every speck of flour thrown around my kitchen.
I seem to have a lot of photos of my kitchen being a complete and utter disaster. I think I take the pictures in the hopes that one day I’ll wake up and realize that this cooking and cleaning thing is for the birds. As of right now, though, it still seems to be my thing.
Luckily, I have Bounty® Basic to help me clean the crazy cooking and baking messes. Have you given them a try before? Bounty® Basic paper towels are one-ply value paper towels. I know. I know exactly what you’re thinking. “Oh, value paper towels? Must mean they don’t work.” I’ve been there. I’ve thought that.
I tried the Bounty® Basic paper towels anyway, and I was so pleasantly surprised. They really hold up very well! I wad them up and get them wet and use them like a rag and scrub the heck out of my counters and dining room table. They work great for wiping up spills as well. Oh, and, yeah. They clean the mess with less. I like that, because as the photos above indicate, I go through quite a lot of paper towels throughout the day!
