Friday Round Up #5
I have some exciting news to share in the week’s round-up!
No, I’m not pregnant.
No, I’m not getting divorced.
No, I haven’t won the lottery.
Quit guessing and just let me tell you, mkay?
I’m going to be writing for The Huffington Post. About food. Not, like, current events or political speak-y talk. Just food.
Okay, so that might not be super exciting for you, but it’s kinda a big deal for me. You can find my first recipe for Peanut Butter & Nutella Sandwich Cookies right here. Some of my long time readers might recognize it, because I cheated and regurgitated it from my archives. Don’t judge me!
In other news, I shared a delicious new way to eat up all that summer squash you have lying around.
Then I confused my husband on by turning the oven to make a milkshake.
And, last but not least, I shared a sad story about how I can not bake a cake to save my life and then left you with a recipe for cake and expected you to trust me enough to make it. Butter Pecan Cake is a delicious thing.
Hope y’all have a fabulous weekend.

That is so exciting. I love reading their Kitchen Daily! I love that many times it’s blogs they reference. YOU GO GIRL!

*Squeeeee* Karly, I’m more excited for you than the time I bought a Nestle Crunch bar and opened it up to find a “golden ticket” that won me a YEAR’S SUPPLY of Crunch bars! True story. I love you. The end.

I can see it now. Karly writing for Huffington Post. Ellen De Generes reads it and invites you on her show. You go on the show and some food critic sees you and introduces you to Rachel Rays producer or agent , and next thing you know our Karly has her own tv show. Now Karly, please don’t get so big that you forget about us little people down here. We love you just the way you are.
.
Congratulations!!
