Mrs. Freshley’s & Cinnabon Giveaway

The other day, the box man showed up.

You know the box man, right? He wears a brown uniform, drives a brown truck, and brings boxes to your door step.

Sure, YOU might call him something else, but my daughter calls him the box man.

Anyway, he showed up with, you guessed it! A box!

I’ve been trying to limit the shoppyness, so I was sorta confused about what could be inside. I hadn’t ordered anything lately and the box was heavy, man. What could it possibly be?

Um, is this real life?

Did I really just receive NINE POUNDS of Cinnabon and Mrs. Freshley’s goodies?

You guys, being a food blogger is so unreal sometimes. In a good way. A cinnamon-y honey bun type of good way.

My husband pretty much lost his mind when he saw these. I told him he could take some to work and when I woke up this morning? Half of the box was gone.

Half is not some, husband! Half is half!

Do you think it was his way of telling me I’m fat? Like, I can’t be trusted with nine pounds of Mrs. Freshley’s Cinnabon goodies? He didn’t actually speak the words that he thinks I’m fat, but actions speak louder than words and I didn’t make that saying up, so…

Yeah. He’s sleeping on the couch.

Me? I’ll be resting my head on a cloud of poofy danishes stuffed with real Cinnabon cinnamon and drizzled with creamy icing.

Oh, and if that tragic story of a husband and wife nearly divorcing over honey buns made you sad, here’s a little love story for you.

It’s so cute it made me cry. Then it made me hungry. Then I realized that maybe it was a good thing my husband snuck half of my treats off to work with him.

My favorite were the honey buns. My husband preferred the danishes. The kids? Big surprise! They loved ‘em all!
