Planning a time to get together with my girlfriends is always difficult. If one of us is available only on Tuesdays, someone else is available only on Thursdays. It’s a pain in the butt to get old, have children, and be a responsible adult, is what I’m trying to say.
I don’t recommend it.
As soon as I got word that I’d be writing a sponsored post about Olive Garden, I shot off an email to my girls and asked to treat them to dinner. We made it happen, you guys. Ladies are very motivated to change their schedules around when it comes to unlimited breadsticks and Alfredo sauce.
Needless to say, we all had a fabulous time catching up. In fact, we sat in Olive Garden for over 3 hours just chatting and eating until we were ready to burst. Their menu is so full of delicious, fresh, Italian-inspired items, it’s almost impossible to choose!
Olive Garden has a delicious (and cheap!) new 3 Course Italian Dinner for just $12.95 that I particularly enjoyed. It begins with everyone’s favorite-soup or salad. Seriously, I don’t know how they make green leaves taste so delicious, but they do. I could eat their salad every day. The next course has 5 options to choose from and all five sounded delicious. I chose the Smoked Mozzarella Chicken, but the Asiago and Roasted Garlic Tortelloni with Grilled Sausage was really calling my name, too. I think I chose right, though.
My chicken and pasta was amazing, and there was, as always, more than enough to fill me up! I took the leftovers home and ate them for breakfast the next day. Leftovers always make the best breakfasts, am I right? And, finally (also: most importantly) was the dessert course. Hello, lover. Again, there were five different options to choose from, ranging from Chocolate Mousse to Amaretto Tiramisu.

The girls and I had such a great time catching up and the staff at Olive Garden never once made us feel rushed. We took over one of their tables on a busy Saturday evening for over three hours, and they were just as friendly as they could be! Our waitress didn’t even make fun of us when my friend opened up her to-go box and started eating her food again. Yes. We had so much fun that we stayed that long. Oh, and may I just say, Olive Garden has the most comfortable chairs known to man? Why does every restaurant not use cushy wheeled chairs? I do not understand.
